Anda Night

Remember when I wrote about the first time me, my family, and my loved ones went to Anda, Bohol, for my birthday last year? Well, me and my partner went to Anda again for the second time last weekend. Honestly, this latest memory is one of my favorite travel memories that we have together.

It was actually sort of a last-minute decision that we'd go to Anda together for an overnight trip. Since we both have hectic work schedules, traveling on weekends may sometimes sound almost impossible. But fortunately, we were both able to make time for this trip.

So, last Saturday, I rode on a public bus for a trip to my partner's office at 9:00 AM. It was a 4-hour bus ride. It wasn't really a hassle because I love long road trips, and I was asleep most of the time lol. I arrived at around 1:00 PM. My boyfriend was there, waiting for me at the bus terminal. 😁😁😁

We had our late lunch together before we went to his office. It took him a few minutes to pack his clothes and wrap up his work responsibilities before we finally went ahead to Anda. The trip from his office to Anda took about 30 to 40 minutes. It was also raining so hard, so we were drenched. Luckily, the rain stopped when we arrived in Anda.

We checked in first at one of the resorts and changed from our wet clothes. Then, we walked around the seashore, took pictures, bought a mat, and just continued walking. Although we were tired from all that walking, I know we both had fun. It's been a loooong time since I had an alone time with him while walking and talking to each other.

Eventually, the darkness came in, and we stopped by this really cool cafe: the AndaBar Cafe. We highly recommend this place, because aside from the friendly staff, their dishes and frappe coffee are sooooooo delicious. We had to take out some so we'll have something to eat at the seashore. After that tasty supper, we returned to the hotel and bought some beers.

Then, we went to the seashore, placed our mat on the sand, and lay there with our beers. Really, it was a peaceful and romantic moment. We probably spent 2 to 3 hours seated by the sea until we finally decided to tuck in for the night. The following day, we woke up at around 5:00 AM to witness the sunrise and the beautiful seascape. We also took some pictures together before we had our breakfast.

When you're having fun, time does fly so fast. We're looking forward to doing it all again and finding another beautiful beach once our schedule allows. Thanks love! Also, CIAO readers! 💕💕
