Day Out at Mirror
A few days ago, me and my boyfriend revisited one of our province's known tourist attraction - the Mirror of the World. It's a place where it exhibits replicas of some of the world's famous and iconic landmarks such as New York's Statue of Liberty, Paris' Eiffel Tower, Brazil's Christ the Redeemer, Singapore's Merlion, Greek mythology god statues, LA's Hollywood Sign (Bohollywood), and much more. This is my third time going back here and this my boyfriend's fifth time, and this is our 2nd time to visit this place together. And in every visit, there's always a new landmark added to it so it's always interesting going back there.
Due to the pandemic in which travel is minimized and foreign tourists are not yet accepted, the tourist spot was apparently quiet with only less than 20 visitors during our time of visit. Since we are also living now with the "new normal", new protocols are implemented before going inside their premises. Probably one of the advantage we had while visiting at this time is that the place is not crowded, therefore you get to take pictures on your own without having to worry about photobombers walking behind you or having to wait for your turn just to take a picture of the statues.
We are planning to revisit some attractions that we've both visited together months before, and of course, travel to places we've never been before too. Although, choosing the day and week to go is getting kinda harder for us now as we're getting busier with our jobs, hence also giving me less time to blog too. But still, looking forward to our future travels!
