An Upgrade

I usually do not talk about work-related topics as I keep my work-life private. But today, I just can't contain my excitement! So, last week, I underwent premium content training in our company. This is an upskilling training intended to teach writers to write more elevated and complex topics. When I was offered the slot to join the training, I honestly felt hesitant at first because I knew how demanding and challenging premium writing could be. I've seen and heard premium writers in our company talk and complain about how complex the topics were and how strict the clients can be regarding article quality. On the other hand, being part of the premium writers also meant you'll have a way higher salary than others. In other words, I was offered a chance to become promoted into a premium writer.

Putting my worries and insecurities aside, I eventually accepted the offer as I'd like to try my luck. Who knows, maybe I'll pass the training and get promoted. So, yeah, for the whole of last week, I had my training with six other writers, and we were assigned to our own trainers. Thankfully, I was assigned to J (I'm not revealing any name here lol), who also happens to be my pod leader. He was very patient with me throughout the training, and he can also be very honest and frank when correcting my errors.  

Initially, the training is intended to last for two weeks. However, we can graduate from the training a week earlier if our performance and output during the training is commendable. J, my trainer, told me last Friday that I could graduate early from the training and start working as a premium writer by next week. Soooooooooooo, here I am! LOL, just writing to congratulate myself, hahaha! After nine years of writing as a hobby and one year of writing for work, for the first time, I finally got promoted for something 😍😆😆😍! I'm happy, and at the same time, I'm feeling challenged to undertake more intricate topics, and hopefully, I can nail each one of them. That would be all guys, CIAO!
